Mike has written Wine Spectator award winning Wine Lists and attended numerous classes in Culinary Arts, Wine Studies and elite service CIA Napa Valley, and CIA Hudson River Valley New York. A Certified Club Manager, Certified Wine Professional, Certified Pool Operator and yes even a Red Cross Lifeguard.
Wine consultants in this space advise bars and restaurants on everything from designing and diversifying wine, staff training, on site tastings for rolling out successful programs. They may also help with operations and creating sales programs for restaurants, clubs, retail and hotel clients.
Mike and Ginger have orchestrated wine trips across the US, including the Napa Valley, the Central Coast Paso Robles, the Russian River AVA Sonoma County, Santa Barbara, Santa Rita Foothills, Dry Creek Valley, the Williamette Valley Oregon, The Red Hills and Walla Walla AVA of Washington State, the Finger Lakes of New York, and the Leelanau Peninsula in Michigan.
